Taste and ageing

Dark berries, garrigue and spice with a fresh, long finish. It can be enjoyed now and kept for 20 years or more.

Vineyard and winemaking

The wine comes from the stony La Crau plateau, where the large, round stones hold the heat of the day. Grenache is the backbone, supported by Syrah, Mourvèdre and other grapes, and the wine is aged in large oak casks.

About Vieux Télégraphe

Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe has been owned by the Brunier family since 1898. The name comes from an optical telegraph that stood on the plateau in the late 18th century, and the domaine is still run by the family.
