Isole e Olena Collezione Privata Chardonnay 2019 (Isole e Olena Collezione Privata Chardonnay, Toscana IGT) is a rare Tuscan Chardonnay from one of Chianti Classico's most respected estates.

Taste and ageing

Pear, stone fruit, honey and lightly toasted notes, full and precise, with fresh acidity and a long, chalky finish. It can be enjoyed now and kept for 10 years or more.

Vineyard and winemaking

Isole e Olena has made this Chardonnay in small quantities since the late 1980s. It is fermented in barrel, a third of them new, and aged for 10–12 months on its lees.

About Isole e Olena

Isole e Olena lies in Barberino Tavarnelle in Chianti Classico and, under Paolo De Marchi, became known for Cepparello, one of Tuscany's finest Sangiovese wines. Since 2022 the estate has belonged to the EPI group, which also owns Biondi-Santi.
