Tenuta di Biserno Il Pino di Biserno 2021 (Biserno Il Pino, Toscana IGT) is the second wine from Tenuta di Biserno in the Alta Maremma, close to Bolgheri. The 2021 has been rated 95 points by both James Suckling and Falstaff.

Taste and ageing

2021 is dense and well balanced, with blackcurrant, cherries, violet, cedar and liquorice, silky tannins and fresh acidity. It can be enjoyed now and kept for 15 years or more.

Vineyard and winemaking

Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot from Biserno's vineyards in Bibbona give a wine with both body and finesse, in the same style as the estate's top wines Biserno and Lodovico.

About Tenuta di Biserno

Tenuta di Biserno was founded by the brothers Lodovico and Piero Antinori in Bibbona, just north of Bolgheri. Lodovico Antinori is the man behind Ornellaia, and at Biserno Cabernet Franc plays the leading role.
