Antinori Guado al Tasso Bolgheri Superiore 2022 (Marchesi Antinori Tenuta Guado al Tasso, Bolgheri Superiore DOC) is the flagship wine of Antinori's estate in Bolgheri. The 2022 has been rated 96 points by both Wine Advocate and James Suckling.
Taste and ageing
2022 is rich and refined, with ripe cherries, blackberries, violet, tobacco and liquorice, silky tannins and a long finish. It can be enjoyed now and kept for 20 years or more.
Vineyard and winemaking
Guado al Tasso lies in the arc of hills facing the coast at Bolgheri, and the name means the badger's ford. The wine is Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot from the estate's best plots and is aged in French barriques.

The Antinori family has made wine in Tuscany since 1385 and is now in its 26th generation. Guado al Tasso is the family's estate in Bolgheri, and the Bolgheri Superiore was first made in 1990 and has since become one of the area's benchmark wines.
