Description
Eredi Fuligni Brunello di Montalcino 2020 (Eredi Fuligni Brunello, Brunello di Montalcino DOCG) is Brunello from one of Montalcino's classic family producers. The 2020 has been rated 97 points by Falstaff and 96 by Decanter.
Taste and ageing
Cherries, spice, violet and tobacco, elegant and fresh, with fine tannins and a long finish. It can be enjoyed now after a little air and kept for 20 years or more.
Vineyard and winemaking
Fuligni's vineyards are at Cottimelli on Montalcino's north-eastern side, where the altitude brings freshness and perfume. The wine is 100% Sangiovese and is aged in large casks and tonneaux before further rest in bottle.
About Fuligni
The Fuligni family has owned land in Montalcino since the late 1800s, and the estate is today known for elegant, classic Brunello. It is still family-owned.
